11/16/11

Yesterday:
We took a quiz and worked on IXL

Today:
Started Absolute Value!
Remember absolute value is NEVER Negative!! Absolute value is just the distance something is from the base (or 0)--example: you don't drive negative 5 miles to get home; you just drive five miles.

l4l=4
l-4l=4

lxl=4 means x originally could have been  +4 or -4

The notes are in our "foldable". See here for the copy!

ASSIGNMENT:
Writing Inequalities and Absolute Value Worksheet

Tomorrow: IXL Practice
