Slope from Equations!!!! Lots and lots and lots!
Tuesday, January 17, 2012
1/17/12
Today we worked on finding slope from an Equation
when the equation is in y= format, the number in front of the x is the slope
so if y=3x+5 the slope will be 3
if 2y=6x+ 8 you would have to divide both sides by 2 before you would have y alone on the left side so your slope would be 6/2 which is 3.
